Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to join an independent supply business on a full time, permanent basis. You will be a strong communicator being able to liaise between multiple departments to process and distribute goods.
Responsibilities include
- Prioritise, allocate and monitor the workload to ensure material is always processed and delivered to customers on time.
- Planning and organisation of workloads for the team
- Complete invoices and update product information on the database
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift.
- Picking goods.
- Supervise the use of staff and material resources including warehouse space, racking and the delivery fleet.
- Training staff members.
- Operate clear systems and procedures and regularly monitor these to ensure all staff are both aware of and adhere to the standards expected.
- Help organise the maintenance of all plant and machinery on a regular basis to ensure it is operating safely.
- Loading and unloading lorries.
Required skills
- Must have a Counterbalance licence
- Supervisory experience
- Computer literate
- Able to operate warehouse systems
- Problem solving
