Our client is on the lookout for a proactive and people-centric individual to fill the role of People Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our client's success by providing a full generalist HR and resourcing service. This amazing opportunity awaits you in the picturesque town of Malton, nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the Group's Head of People, the People Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing and delivering our client's People Plan. With the support of the central People team, you'll ensure the smooth day-to-day operations from an HR perspective.
If you are passionate about HR and dedicated to cultivating a positive workplace culture, have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience or have CIPD Level 5, can demonstrate proficiency in HR databases and MS Office and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative and inclusive approach then we'd love to hear from you!
The key responsibilities for this role are:
* Contribute to and execute the People Plan strategy
* Deliver precise HR advice and guidance to employees across all levels
* Provide support and mentorship to managers regarding all aspects of people management
* Take the lead in sourcing top talent for diverse roles within the organization
* Facilitate seamless preboarding and onboarding experiences for new hires
* Drive the successful implementation of a new Time & Attendance system
* Oversee comprehensive HR administrative tasks throughout the employee journey
* Effectively manage employee relations matters, with additional assistance for complex cases
* Champion training and development initiatives to nurture talent within the team
* Maintain the integrity of HR systems while ensuring strict GDPR compliance
* Supply accurate monthly payroll data to the Finance team
* Exemplify and promote the company's core values and behaviors.
Earning a competitive salary of between £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, you will also receive excellent benefits such as 28 days annual leave, opportunities for development and progression and annual social events.
Working hours are 40 hours, Monday to Friday - flexible on start and finish times, earning a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000.
