Connex Education are currently working closely with a large and successful academy based in the heart of Nottingham who are seeking a Maths Teacher to join the department for the full summer term.

Assignment details

The Math teaching post is to start in the summer term (from the 15th of April) and you will be required until July as a minimum. Within the role you will be working Monday to Friday, Full time (8am-3.30pm). The maths department can support you with the planning and marking of lessons and you will be teaching across KS3 to KS5 with mixed ability classes.

Person Specification

• Hold qualified teaching status
• Have suitable, UK teaching experience
• Hold good subject knowledge within Mathematics
• Able to work with students of varied abilities up to KS4
• Can commit to a long term placement until July 2024 as a minimum
• Reliable and consistent
• Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
• Passionate about the success of young people and supporting the local community
• Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour
