Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Advisor will include, but may not be limited to;
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems.
- Analyse financial data and develop forecasts.
- Provide financial advice to senior management.
- Manage financial operations within the division.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Monitor the division's financial performance and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Advisor should have:
- Public Sector and Government background.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Ability to commute to Lancashire.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
