AKTON recruitment is working with the local authorities and we are looking for an Adult Assessment Social Worker in the Westminster area. 3 - 6 months contract role. Enhanced DBS required for this role.

General: Social worker in Information and Advice team

Overall view of the role:

Screening and information gathering on new safeguarding concerns in Adult social care.

Contacting clients to gather information and signpost to local organisations.

Carry out Care act assessments.

Identify immediate risks and safeguard vulnerable adults.

Work as part of a fast pace team supporting and signposting Westminster residents.

Top skills required:

To be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced team.

To be accountable for decisions, risk assess and a make recommendations to support vulnerable adults.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

MOST IMPORTANT BIT: Ability to use mosaic database.
