Field Sales Representative (National)

Job description
We are working with a highly reputable family run SME based in Colchester, to recruit an experienced, passionate, and energetic Field Sales Representative with a national coverage. Ideally this person will be based in the Midlands. You will be the face of the business and a real brand ambassador when promoting their products.
Reporting to the Sales Director you will be phoning and attending existing customers workplaces, so that they are meeting their full potential and are maintained as loyal customers. You will research, identify, manage, and control stock held in customers premises.
It is predicted that you will spend 4 days on the road visiting clients, and 1 day in the office/ home calling your customer to organise your week successfully
Responsibilities:
- B2B sales and account management
- Ensure that preparation work is completed for any meeting booked
- Working toward set KPIs and taking full ownership of these
- Build rapport with key customers by regular telephone contact, and face to face meetings
- Contacting new customers / non-spenders with a view to identifying potential and bringing them on board.
- Identify products that the customer is not buying and introduce them to the customer so that spend levels could be increased.
- Demonstrate new products and their benefits via face-to-face visits
- Ensure that consignment stock is checked at regular intervals as agreed with the customer.
- Feedback information to the internal sales team
- Conduct market research
- Generate new leads and identify prospects
- Arrange and attend exhibition set ups
- Attend and present at monthly sales meeting in Colchester
Requirements
- Experienced in B2B sales
- Experienced within the construction or consumables industry

- Be flexible to stay overnight in hotels

- Salary- £40,000-50,000 basic
