Clinical Business Process Owner
Home based with flexibility to Ramsay Health Care facilities
The Role:
Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Business Process Owner to join our team. The Clinical Business Process Owner will play a crucial role in driving clinical process improvement initiatives and maximising the value derived from our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. The EPR System we use is IMS MAXIMS. This post holder will act as a subject matter expert, influencing continuous improvement efforts and driving change management activities to ensure effective adoption of new processes and system functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as an ambassador and advocate for all clinical elements of the EPR system, providing consultancy and subject matter expertise to influence continuous improvement across the business.
Identify and drive clinical process improvement opportunities, leading change management efforts to ensure effective adoption of new processes and system releases.
Actively participate in audit programmes, targeting poor performances identified and driving corrective actions.
Drive consistency of end-to-end EPR clinical business processes across corporate directorates, clusters, and hospitals, influencing senior leadership teams to adopt and resource best practice processes.
Benchmark, measure, and report on process utilisation and performance to optimise revenue capture, conducting root cause analysis to drive action plans addressing process deviation.
Understand the IMS and Digital Health roadmap and releases, ensuring sites adopt incremental benefits through effective change management.
Own and manage clinical change requests, leading on clinical items at the Change Management Group, and providing regular updates to the Clinical Safety Officer & National Clinical Digital Manager and attends the Clinical Team meeting as required
Review the external environment to identify opportunities or threats for EPR, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
Host cross-site user forums to review process efficiency and effectiveness, driving process improvement plans based on feedback and analysis.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Healthcare Professional with recent operational experience.
Extensive experience in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of healthcare processes and workflows.
Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives, preferably within a healthcare IT environment. Experience of IMS MAXIMS is desired but not essential.
Proven track record of effectively managing change and driving adoption of new processes or technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
