Principal Civil Engineer

Bath

£60,000 - £65,000 plus benefits

Are you a Principal Civil Engineer based in the Bath area looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! Our client is a firm of consulting engineers who offer cost-effective, tailor-made solutions to their clients, in an environment based on mutual respect for all.

They are seeking a talented Principal Civil Engineer to lead the civil engineering team in delivering high quality, sustainable solutions on projects such as warehouses and data centres, from concept to completion. Your workload will also include taking a lead role on residential, retail, and commercial projects. As a pivotal member of the organisation, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting ventures, collaborate with diverse teams and drive innovation in every aspect of your work.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship and technical expertise to ensure project success and team development;
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards;
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships;
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources.

About you:

• Degree in civil engineering;
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a UK firm;
• Proficient in relevant software such as Civils 3D;
• Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating the team.
