Title: Algorithm Developer
Location: Hybrid- London
Length: 12 months
Im currently working with HSBC who are looking to bring onboard a Algorithm Developer.
The Algorithmic Trading applications are built on a Java platform designed and developed to provide infrastructure services such as market data, analytics, order management, resiliency for the trading algorithms.
- The roles will be working in neutral pricing development and price distribution, as well as quoting and algorithmic development for electronic execution in Fixed Income Markets. The two candidates have demonstrated, both excellent technical skills and experience is building similar architectures in Tier 1 Fixed income houses.

- Developing both tactical and strategic solutions to meet business requirements
- Developing automated testing tools to exercise functionality, performance, and capacity of code
- Providing estimates for tasks, including design, development, technical debt, and testing
- Supporting analysis, testing, and operations teams
- Producing codes that is appropriate for a low-latency java platform
- Designing and building new features for the algo trading infrastructure, bullet time back testing algo trading infrastructure
- Investigating and resolving production issues
- Working with the Quants team and product team to understand the requirements
