Job description
Join us as a Claims Analyst, where you'll unlock insights, drive strategic decisions, and shape the future of our business through data.
At Direct Line Group, insurance is just the start. Combining decades of industry experience with talented people in every field from data, technology, customer care and auto repair, to HR, finance, and procurement, we’re a customer-obsessed market powerhouse. And we all work together to be brilliant for customers, every single day.
Fuelled by our passion for using data to solve customer problems, we’re working to be the top-tier data-driven organisation in the UK’s General Insurance market. With Analysts, Engineers and Developers working together in an agile environment, our Data Enabling Tribe is at the heart of our mission. Building a new, enterprise-scale, cloud-hosted, secure and trusted analytics platform, we’re using the economics of big data, cloud elasticity, machine learning and AI automation. And we’re turning information into business insights to provide even greater customer support.
Reporting directly to the Claims Analytics Business Partner, you'll analyse Management Information (MI) data to provide performance insights to Claims stakeholders, interpret findings, and conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities across key business drivers. Your role extends to supporting strategic Claims initiatives by delivering robust management information and collaborating with Claims Operational Management to develop purposeful reports featuring relevant key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll continuously enhance the quality of MI, address ad hoc requests, and refine MI requests to align with objectives. Additionally, you'll creatively resolve complex data problems, identify process improvements, and develop statistical techniques and models to drive business benefits across DLG Insurance.
