MAINTENANCE JOINERS

CCG is looking for a fully qualified joiner with a proven track record in building maintenance to add to their current maintenance division. The job involves general maintenance and minor repair, primarily to occupied properties.

A company van will be provided and a driving license is an essential requirement as CCG’s operational base covers the entire Central Belt with projects further afield.

Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate
Hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm, Friday 7.30 am – 3.30 pm & every alternate weekend to cover call-outs

The Role:

We are looking for a multi-skilled proactive person who can inspect problem areas and carry out necessary remedial work in an effective manner.

Maintaining accurate records of jobs delivered and communicating with CCG’s Customer Care staff on progress and completions.

It is crucial that you can work well with a range of client staff, the general public and the end-users of properties as we pride ourselves on customer-focused service and total client satisfaction.

You must know relevant Health & Safety practices and be capable of working in a variety of circumstances – on live building sites, in occupied houses, at height, within confined spaces, etc.

You will be required to liaise with colleagues and provide information on the underlying causes of particular remedial work requirements and advise on how these can be avoided in future.

Core working hours will be 7.30 am – 4.30 pm but the successful applicant will require a flexible attitude to respond to priority calls and appointments, occasionally out of hours.
