We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at a thriving primary school in the heart of Lambeth. This full time position is available to start in February, offering a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Year 5 pupils.
As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to the classroom teacher, facilitating engaging and enriching learning experiences, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes academic and personal growth. Your passion for education and commitment to the well-being of our students will be integral to their success and achievement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities
- Providing individual and small group support to students, including those with additional learning needs
- Promoting positive behavior and encouraging a love for learning among our Year 5 cohort
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the holistic development of our students
The successful candidate will be a dedicated and empathetic individual with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners. You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, an adaptable and proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
