Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural engineering design and analysis for complex and challenging projects across various sectors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering services, meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
- Act as a subject matter expert in structural engineering, contributing to business development and proposal efforts.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience as a Structural Engineer.
- Strong ability to work within deadlines, budgets, and schedules.
- Excellent understanding of design principles for concrete and steel structures, with additional knowledge of masonry and timber preferred.
- Chartered membership of the Institution of Structural or Institution of Civil Engineers is highly desirable.
- Skilled in utilising software tools such as TEDDS, TEKLA, SICA, or similar for analysis and design purposes.
- Proven track record of leading, managing, and running structural engineering design projects.
