Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Landscaper on behalf of a landscaping company that works within the new build housing sector where their teams install the soft landscaping in gardens.

On offer is a salary of up to £28,000 per year with plenty of overtime available , four weeks holiday plus bank holidays, uniform, pension and benefits package that includes retail discounts as well as the opportunity to progress in your career to Team Leader level.

As a Landscaper you will be:

• Preparing the ground, turfing, planting, mulching and barking.
  
• To be considered as the Landscaper you will need:
  
• Landscaping experience including ground prep, turfing and planting shrubs and trees.
  
• A full UK Driving Licence and your own transport to get to the depot (company van provided for working day).
  

Requirements

It would be useful if you had any of the following:

• Related horticultural certificates.
  
• A CSCS card.

Additional Detail

If you do not have a CSCS card, then you need to take and pass the test before you can start with the company. The current cost for this is £22 when booked directly with a Pearson Vue testing centre and there are plenty of free apps that you can download on your phone so you can practice in advance. The hiring company will pay for the course to convert your six month temporary card into a full CSCS card which is then valid for five years.
