Electrical Engineer

Food Manufacturing

Panama Shift (3s and 2s) rotating between days and nights - 12 hour shifts

Overview

This is a great opportunity for an electrical engineer who is looking to move in to a new position in the food manufacturing industry. One of the areas well known manufacturers are looking to recruit an electrical engineer and are ready to hire immediately. As an electrical engineer, you will be joining an experienced a stable team in a challenging, yet supportive environment. The team is well balanced on site but they are ideally looking for someone who is electrically biased.

Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer

• Proactive maintenance and site PMs
• Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
• Working across mechanical faults and maintenance
• Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
• Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
• Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site

Requirements for the Electrical Engineer

• Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
• Experience working in a electrically biased maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry
• Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
