Location: North West England, Merseyside, Wirral
Job Type: 12-15 month Fixed Term Contract - Full-Time hours
Resourcery Group are working with a great international business who are looking to bring on board a commercially focused accountant for a long term maternity cover. This role is to support the Finance Business Partners by providing up to date commercial insights into the numbers.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely financial information for decision-making purposes
- P&L analysis and weekly sales analysis
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment proposals
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide financial support and guidance to internal departments
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the suite of reporting packs using power pivots
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in accounting such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
- Proven experience in a similar commercial accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Professional Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, ACA
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and sales reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacturing and production industry
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Previous experience as a finance business partner
Working Conditions:
This role is based in North West England, specifically in Merseyside, Wirral. The successful candidate will work full-time hours on a contract basis to cover maternity leave. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with various internal stakeholders.
