Description:

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner in Earl Shilton to join our team who will provide holistic and also quality care to our patients.

This service in Silsden.  We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner based on minor injuries. You will provide inpatient and day case elective surgery across the following Specialities: Orthopaedics, Oral Surgery, Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT (ear, nose and throat), Urology, Eye Surgery, Endoscopy and also Pain Management.

The role is to assist in the provision of a quality nurse led service to patients attending the Minor Injury Unit. The post holder will assess patients health needs with a range of minor illness and also injury conditions. Plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals and/or seek advice and support from a more experienced member of staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counselling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions

Qualifications

Masters in Nursing

Skills

• Must hold current license/registration to practice

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information

Experience

• One must Registered Nurse(RN)
• NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
• Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
