Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Waste / Recycling company in their search for a Transport Manager to work based at their depot in Widnes .

For the successful Transport Manager our client is offering:

• Up to £45,000 per annum DOE
• 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
• Full-time permanent position
• Company Vehicle
• 22 days holiday + bank holidays

The role - Transport Manager:

• Responsible for ensuring the transport departments at all sites operate in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner
• Managing and overseeing the Fleet Servicing, MOTs, Vehicle Breakdowns, and vehicle records in compliance with the O License Conditions
• Supporting other company traffic managers when needed
• To ensure that drivers hold the appropriate licence for the vehicle they are driving and a valid driver CPC qualification (DQC)
• To ensure compliance with the driving hours rules

What our client is looking for in a Transport Manager

• Experience in Transport Management covering multiple sites - ESSENTIAL
• Excellent communication, inter-personal analytical, and Microsoft skills
• A full driving licence and flexibility to travel - ESSENTIAL
• Be able to work in a team, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have a flexible approach
