The People Hive is searching for a Volunteer Coordinator to join their team.
They are all about creating real opportunities and empowering individuals with learning disabilities within our community, with a small team of 10 employees (3.5 full time equivalent). As Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll play a creative and crucial role in the development of their established volunteer team.
You’ll be at the heart of the organisation’s mission – recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to ensure the charity thrives. From conducting interviews and background checks, to providing ongoing training and recognition, you’ll play a vital role in building a strong volunteer community. Volunteers are a key part of the charity and support all areas of service delivery.
Supporting the development of policies, forging partnerships, and promoting volunteering both internally and externally are just a few of the exciting tasks you’ll undertake.
This is a new role with secured funding for one year which it is hoped will be extended.
