Job description

A growing lending firm are looking for a Financial Accountant for their expanding Finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone to make their first step into the industry coming from practice.

Given the firm's growth and all the upcoming new projects, they are now looking for an eager finance professional to step into this highly commercial role. Reporting directly into senior management, you will gain larger exposure to all aspects of the firm and all its products compared to your larger and more functionalised finance teams.

You will get the chance to get involved in projects and to add your personal spin to them, having a tangible impact on the firm's operations and future plans. Some of your day to day will include:

• Helping maintain the automated and scalable accounting function that produces accurate monthly Management Reports
• Business partnering with several divisions in the production of relevant financial information for decision making
• Taking Ownership of month end and year end accounting for various banking product
• Cashflow forecasting and reporting
• Contribute to considerations on technical accounting matters

Ideally, you will:

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Come from a Financial Services background or from practice having worked with FS clients
• Show a high attention to detail and the ability to get involved
