Hours of Work: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 1pm or 8:30am – 12:30pm

At MSV Housing we offer a range of sheltered housing schemes which provide support and accommodation for elderly and vulnerable people. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Scheme Coordinator to join our established team to achieve our commitment of making sure our customers have good quality safe homes.
Reporting to our Senior Later Living Officer our Scheme Coordinators work closely with internal departments and external agencies to provide an effective and efficient housing management service to our residents in following our internal and Regulator of Social Housing standards. Our Scheme Coordinators are passionate and ensure our residents live happy independent lives at our scheme offering a range of activities to promote their health and wellbeing.
What do our Scheme Coordinators do;
Management of scheme and managing customer risk includes customer welfare checks.
Conducting Health and Safety checks such as fire alarms, emergency lighting and building checks to ensure the building is safe and secure
First point of contact for customer queries
Management of the scheme waiting list, conducting interviews and allocating properties in line with our policies and procedures.
Organise and facilitate social activities and events at the scheme
Monitor low level rent arrears and working collaboratively with internal departments
What we are looking for;
Good standard of education and experience with a variety of ICT packages
Good knowledge of Health and Safety and completing compliance checks
Experience of face to face contact with customers and members of the public
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Passionate in providing a customer focussed service to enable our customers to live happy independent lives.
Understanding of housing management, welfare benefits and safeguarding would be an advantage.
