Job description
Our client seeks a Senior Investment Operations and Asset Data Specialist to join their team. Key Responsibilities: This role will focus on reviewing, researching, reporting and enriching of asset data within the Investment Repository. A senior technical specialist and management role with a broad mandate and will support delivery of the strategy, direction and management of the Investment Operations Team. Will play a key role in developing a high-performance culture of empowerment and professionalism across investment operations. Will take on a lead role in developing key business KPI metrics to enhance visibility into service levels and operational performance, utilising them to steer and enhance overall performance. Will actively participate in the Investment Committee, providing expertise for investment decisions and strategies. Ability to contribute strategic insights and expertise to the Investment Committee for informed decision-making. Will contribute to creating and enabling the Target Operating Model for Investments, ensuring that the structure of the team meets Investment Governance requirements and delivers exceptional customer service. Work closely alongside all investment managers and senior managers in optimising team structures and performance. Will provide ongoing support of relationship management of key partners and custodians to ensure effective collaboration, ensuring strategic priorities are achieved. Will provide effective management when required to support personal development, succession planning, and performance management ensuring that it is effectively and consistently applied across the Investment Operations department. Oversight and focus on the onboarding and ongoing review of complex assets, ensuring compliance and mitigating audit, financial, and legal risks. Accountable for governance and compliance at an operational level and implementing the RCSA framework for Investments. Will have ongoing oversight of the completion of investment management actions linked to Risk Events, compliance and/ or internal audit actions. Will interact closely with their Client Services counterparts, ensuring that service delivery and customer outcomes is fully aligned. Subject matter on investment related projects and business lead for Change Management, driving operational efficiency, optimising team structures and capability. Supports the execution of a business plan. Key Skills and Experience: Relevant experience or Relevant degree with minimum 10 years' experience.
