Job description

Are you an experienced management accountant looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! We are currently working with a well established client who are looking someone to join their team.

Days: Monday to Friday
Company Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

As the company Accountant you will be responsible for managing the accounts department whilst completing day to day transactions and payroll.
The ideal candidate will be someone who likes variety and has the technical ability to prepare the accounts to TB from start to finish. They will need a flexible approach to get involved in all aspects of the accounts, including managing debtors and creditors, and presentation of financial reports to the Directors.

Key Responsibilities include: -
Management of the accounts function for the business from entry level to management account stage.
Bank Reconciliation.
Profit & Loss management.
Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation.
Analyse and process credit card expenditure
Preparation of VAT returns.
Preparation and processing of journals.
Continually monitor prepayments and accruals.
Reconciliation of payroll and pension control accounts.
Hire purchase and business loans analysis, accounting for interest and charges
. Log and process supplier invoices, ensuring invoices are matched with purchase orders on the company database

The ideal candidate will have: -
* A minimum of 4 years' experience as an Accountant coming from a financial background
* It is desirable that you have started or fully AAT Qualified
* Experience with Microsoft Business Central accounts package is desirable but not essential
