Primary Teaching Assistant Sheffield KS2 February helping education and training
Ongoing full time could be for rest of the academic year. To do intervention, booster sessions and some 1:1 support with pupils that need extra support to raise attaintment and keep them on track. Some students you may support may have some barriers to learning and need a clam and patient practitioner to nurture and support these students to grown in skills, communication and ability.

To start after half term working for the remainder of the academic year most likely at a primary school edge of Sheffield are looking for a multi-skilled TA, who is able to work within a through primary setting, supporting within whole class lessons in KS2 and some small group and 1:1 Support may be required. There may also be an element of intervention and catch up work. This role is likely to be in KS2 class but there might be other roles in KS1 and the child you are supporting has a Education healthcare plan in place and is working below the age related learning. So having ability of supporting lower age ranges is advantageous as well. As part of your role will be ensuring that the work set is acessible.
Our ideal candidate for the role needs to be bright, positive and have the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly and not get easily flustered as this role will require you to support the school and somtimes changes might happen on which class you are covering last minute. We need this practitioner to have a minimum of half a term of experience in a school setting and ideally experience of working as a Teaching Assistant and holding the relevant qualifications.
The role is perfect for a graduate, who is looking to get into teaching, or for a TA who might be looking for wider experience or in a primary setting or even an early career teacher looking to gain more experience.
