Mechanical Maintenance Technician | Glossop | Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:30 | £35,000 + Overtime and benefits.

Requirements:
Successful completion of a 4-year mechanical apprenticeship program and NVQ Level 3 certification.
Proficient in mechanical maintenance and repair, showcasing expertise in pump maintenance, boiler operations, and pipe fitting.
Adept at interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible to work occasional overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute mechanical maintenance tasks, such as machinery moves, equipment installations, and distribution board replacements.
Perform routine preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Leverage expertise in pump and boiler systems to maintain functionality within our chemical manufacturing environment.
Collaborate seamlessly with other maintenance team members to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including gearbox repairs, pump maintenance, and pipe fitting.
Actively participate in project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
Adhere diligently to established safety protocols and procedures, fostering a secure working environment.
