Insurance Consultant

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum + Monthly Bonus

Location: Bournemouth

Hours: Monday to Friday working (1 half Saturday every 4 weeks with the time back in the week (37.5 hours per week)

Our client, located in Branksome, Poole, are looking for people to come and join their growing vibrant team of Insurance professionals.

As an Insurance Consultant operating in the High Value and Non Standard Insurance broking market your role will be diverse and fast paced. You will be required to contact customers and support them with their Insurance needs.

Working with a panel of Insurers you will be required to problem solve, identify solutions and sell Insurance products using a consultative process. We really care about our customers and the emphasis we place is on experience and retention.

Main Responsibilities:

• Generating New Business through direct enquiries
• Inbound and outbound calls to service and generate customers
• Identifying cross sale opportunities
• Delivering a fully compliant service to our customers
• Effectively managing a pipeline of customers in a timely manner
• Liaising and building relationships with Underwriters and Insurers
• Completing internal underwriting
• Processing policy amends and changes

In order to be successful as an Insurance Consultant, you need to have:

• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Sales experience is preferred, but not essential
• Previous experience in hitting targets
• Confident and professional
• Adaptable
• Problem solving and prioritisation
• Ability to multi task and to manage own time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
