Job description

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join a Construction team based in Norwich.

Location: Norwich

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Working week: 3 days on site, 2 days remote from home

Start: Immediate

What will you be responsible for?

As a Commercial Manager, you'll be working with the Commercial team, supporting them in ensuring that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered.

Your day will look like:

• Provide assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues on the project and ensure that the commercial staff attain their maximum potential.
• Review all commercial plans to deliver maximum margin.
• Manage VCRs on a monthly basis to satisfy the requirements of the Business Unit/Company and provide any other reports which may be required.
• Manage and review cost to complete forecasts, ensure all valuations are submitted on time and maximise monthly valuations.
• Carry out cash flow and Work in Progress reporting.

What are they looking for?

• Experience managing a team of quantity surveyors, costing staff and project planners.
• Degree qualified, or equivalent.
• Have knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions.
• Have strong contractual experience.
• Based within a commutable distance to Norwich.
