Radiology Administrator
Chichester Hospital | Administration | Fixed term contract | Full time
Up to £22,000 dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week - Hours will be worked currently Monday to Friday but may include some Saturdays

As an Administrator at our Vale Hospital , you'll bring a keen eye for detail, strong secretarial skills and great communication abilities as you support the Radiology Manager and the team. You're proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable working with numbers and you're committed to providing our teams with the best level of support.
As a Administrator you will:
Deliver high-quality administration support to the radiology, outpatient and theatre reception departments
Enjoy the satisfaction of providing truly exceptional customer service
Prioritise a busy workload, whilst also keeping calm under pressure and remaining professional at all times
Book patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
Complete initial patient safety questionnaires
Work closely with the Radiology team to ensure maximum utilization
Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required
Coordinate, plan and organise a range of activities
Complete electronic and/or manual data entry / record keeping in an accurate and timely manner, to agreed format and standards
File, store, retrieve and collate information / items accurately and efficiently
Handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
