Key Responsibilities: - Data Management: Oversee data downloads, record maintenance, and GIS project setup.
- Technical Survey Management Support: Conduct thorough reviews of documentation and reports, manage survey data QC, coordinate contractors, and assist in report and presentation preparation.
- Route Planning and Analysis: Aid in desktop feasibility studies for submarine cable paths, analyse data to assess seabed conditions, and review cable burial on existing assets.
- Learning and Development: Engage in continuous learning about submarine cable engineering and assist with proposals and tendering.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Hydrographic Survey, Geophysics, or a related Earth Sciences subject.
- 5-10 years of experience in the marine survey industry.
- Strong IT and GIS proficiency.
- Effective communication skills for team and client interactions.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Prior route engineering experience is preferable.
