Job description
On Behalf of a major operator, WRS are looking fo a Subsea Equipment Engineer to work remotelyin the UK on a P&A Project.
Contract position

Overview
The specialist is required to act as the company representative during the period of subsea equipment procurement and preparation for operations. These duties, although not limited to, include the following:
Functions - Generate well re-entry options for abandonment, support preparation of the design basis for the chosen option, taking into account safe practices, risk analysis, legislation and respect for the environment.
- Support in preparation of technical specifications to support the process of purchasing materials and services.
- To act as direct interface/point of contact with OEM’s new equipment manufacturing groups.
- To track OEM performance vs schedule
- Attend regular OEM progress meetings, in person or virtual depending on any restrictions at the time
- Offer engineering support to the OEM to ensure Company objectives are realis
- To work with the Company project manager building offshore strategies, detailed plans and programmes to support offshore operation
- To assist on subsea maters during onshore planning and offshore operation and to provide support at all times during the planning stage and offshore operations
Knowledge and Experience - Engineering Degree
- Minimum of fifteen years experience in equivalent role
- Previous experience working for recognised Subsea OEM
- Knowledge and experience of mature subsea assets
- Knowledgeable in global manufacturing and maintenance standard e.g. APi and ISO
- Expert knowledge of subsea production wellhead systems
- Previous P&A campaign experience
- Extremely knowledgeable with regards to subsea operations
- Familiar with riser fatigue analysis techniques
