The post holder will report to the Assistant Director of Capital Development and provide a lead role in the delivery of the Centre for Mental Health capital development project, including all the activities required to provide a new hospital within an agreed programme and budget and to the quality required for a safe and effective service. Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the successful delivery of key goals and tasks within this complex and varied capital project taking into account wider developments in the Trust and the wider Health and Social Care.
• Ensure that the Trusts interests and project objectives are being achieved through the application of sound project management through all stages from inception to completion/handover and clinical commissioning.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A university degree or relevant professional qualification and worked for at least 2 years in a senior management role1 in a major complex organisation in the areas of strategic capital development and / or strategic planning / service modernisation
• Or Worked for at least 4 years in a senior management role1 in a major complex organisation in the areas of strategic capital development and / or strategic planning / service modernisation

Desirable Skills

• Delivery of Capital Development Scheme above £5 million in capital value
