Robert Half are exclusively recruiting a Financial Controller to join a global business, who are going through a period of significant & positive change.

The Role: As the Financial Controller, reporting into the Group Finance function and working closely with the site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all finance-related aspects of the site. Your responsibilities will include financial analysis, cost management, and financial planning, positioning you as a trusted business partner within the organisation.

Job Title: Financial Controller

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Location: Newport - Hybrid working offered with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for financial performance across departments.
• Oversee and enhance systems, processes, and controls continually.
• Conduct financial analysis and project work.
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Prepare annual rolling forecasts and budgets.
• Lead and act as a key member of the finance team.

Experience and Skills:

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with excellent academics.
• Proven track record of delivering in a high-paced environment.
• Possess the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• IFRS and UK GAAP experience.
• Strong level of IT skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
