Our client are a leading supplier of services and products to the health and emergency response sectors across Ireland.

We are recruiting a Mobile Service Technician to join their service team based in Northern Ireland, carrying out mobile repairs and maintenance on a range of ambulance equipment.

This role would typically suit candidates from a Vehicle Mechanic background or someone with good mechanical and electrical knowledge.

There is great variety in this role with a range of work being carried out.

As a mobile technician, you'll be provided with a fully kitted Van and will often travel to sites straight from your home. There is also an on call rota which comes with extra earnings on call fee and overtime if you get called out.

The Role

• Repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicle equipment including interior devices, vehicle systems and exterior such as tail lifts
• Carry out planned maintenance schedules and also reactive breakdowns
• Fault find and troubleshoot any issues
• Carry out work quickly and efficiently to a high standard
• Update service records accurately using Ipad device
• Be professional working with customers at all times

What we are looking for

• Ideally experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or similar
• Good mechanical skills and knowledge
• Ideally Auto-Electrical experience
• Can work on your own independently
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Can work at pace and under time pressures
