About Our Client
Our client is a public sector organisation based in Wolverhampton.
Job Description
- Oversee all compliance, risk and safety matters within the Estates team.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the highest level of safety across the estate.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits as required.
- Advise on compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Lead the team in the implementation of safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage the reporting and investigation of incidents and near misses.
- Provide training and support to staff in relation to compliance, risk, and safety.
- Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Estates - Compliance, Risk & Safety should have:
- An academic qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
- A qualification in the field of fire safety
- Experience in managing compliance, risk and safety within a large organization.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
