Job description
West London College is a further education college with three centres located in Ealing, Hammersmith and Southall, helping over 10,000 students achieve their career goals each year. We are also part of the Collab Group, which represents 35 of the largest and most innovative colleges in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced and successful strategic leader to implement initiatives that will enhance our student support services and the overall student experience.
As the DSL, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the college's safeguarding policies and procedures, and act as the primary point of contact for safeguarding concerns, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will see you engage effectively with students, staff and external partners, collaborating with various departments to ensure a supportive, safe and inclusive environment for our learners through a holistic approach to student welfare and success.
