Location: Basingstoke
Type: Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC & DV Security Clearance.
A unique opportunity has opened up with with a cyber security centric organisation operating at the cutting edge of UK Defence and Security.
They are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage their software, hardware and networks including their cloud infrastructure for a global, highly technical organisation.
You will ensure their technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. In return, you work alongside an extremely interesting group of people on very unique projects.
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, deploy and maintain a variety of system components.
Have a highly proactive attitude to understanding and developing the IT needs of the business.
Develop Proof-of-Concepts for new system components.
Present your work and findings in an accessible way.
Maintain the business security certifications (e.g. Cyber Essentials plus).
Attend conferences and present as well as have access to training.
Beneficial Experience:
A great candidate may:
Have previous experience in security principles.
Have experience in the Azure cloud hosting platform, Azure Active Directory, deploying containers onto the Azure platform, Azure user permission management (SSO) and InTune deployment of Applications.
Have experience in deploying and managing hybrid infrastructure including publishing NAS services through Azure and managing internal key servers.
Be interested and passionate about learning new things, taking things apart, and getting stuck into new problems and challenges,
Have great communication skills.
