Are you an experienced Head of Technical/ Technical Manager seeking your next interim opportunity, on a full time basis?

Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a highly popular business, for a Technical Manager on an interim basis. The company operate in a niche sector and are open to looking at Senior Technical Professionals coming from a variety of Food sectors, including Ambient, Fresh, Bakery etc.

The role will report into the Managing Director and will be a predominantly office/factory based role, liaising with the internal teams to ensure high quality of production and testing continues on a day to day basis. The role is responsible for ensuring their integrity and maintaining the high standards set by the business.

Interim Technical Manager

£350-£450 per day

Location: Kent

Experience required:

• Previous experience of working in an Interim Technical Manager or Head of Technical Role
• Industry recognised Food qualifications
• Line managing a team overseeing production on site

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership
• Maintaining the QMS systems in place
• Technical Product Standards, Specifications, Food Safety, Quality & Integrity
• Third Party representation

Key Relationships:

Internal:

• Managing Director

• Senior Technologists
• NPD and Technical Team
• Technical Managers at other sites

External:

• Customers
• Suppliers
