Our reputable university based in China is currently looking for professional and experienced English teachers to provide our college and university students with online oral and writing English courses. If you have the dedication to provide effective education for university students then we would like to invite you to join our international department. The position involves preparing and providing oral English classes to our university students at all levels. You will be working from home and teaching using our online education software. Lessons are delivered using Zoom and Dingtalk platforms, and make use of and a variety of teaching resources and materials.
Founded in 1912, our university formally entered the list of the universities which are jointly developed by the provincial government and the ministry and in 2016 our university became a “Double First-rate” university. Now our university includes 12 branches for learning, with 33 departments, 97 undergraduate programs and over 60 Master’s programs.
In 2007, upon the approval of the provincial government, we were established as a Sino-foreign cooperative education college. Its main task is to undertake the educational and teaching tasks of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs and foreign curriculum introduction projects.
Teachers will be teaching a flexible schedule from 4 to 24 hours per week, the schedule will be discussed during the interview. The teaching program is based on the American curriculum but we encourage our teachers to also implement their own creative methods to inspire our college students.
-Prepare and provide online oral English or English writing classes
-Preferred teaching time 08:00 – 10:00 or 19:00 to 21:00 China time
-Contract based on semester system
-Flexible working time from 4 to 24 hours a week based on school and teacher discussion (to be discussed in the interview)
-Teach motivated college and university students
-Provide advice and assistance to students
-Promote and preserve a positive learning atmosphere
-Provide reports on students’ progress and development in class
-Enhance students’ verbal and listening skills in English
-Excellent salary: starts at 125 – 150 RMB per hour (approx 20 – 23 USD)
-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate or teaching license required
-Native English speaker from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand
-Previous teaching experience required
-Passionate in teaching university students and desire for their personal development
-Energetic, enthusiastic and creative
