Section Engineer - Huntingdon

Are you a section engineer ready for a exciting challenge? Are you based in Huntingdon? We have an exciting section engineer role starting this April for a very respected contractor in the area. This is a freelance contract. The ideal candidate should have a range of experience in civils such as highways and infrastructure. Especially experience in construction and maintenance. The ideal candidate would be able to do surfacing also.

Day Rate - CIRCA - GBP325.00 - GBP375.00

Start Date -April 2024

Duration - Ongoing

You will be responsible for:

- Managing workload

- Sourcing materials

- Design work

- Setting out

- Reporting to and working with project manager

- Quality assurance

- Liaising with clients

- Managing a team of engineers

- Progress meetings

Requirements:

- AutoCad

- Commitment to highest level of Health & Safety

- CSCS

- Work as part of a team

- Work within a budget

- Communicate written and verbal information

- Experience in highways, bridges, infrastructure
