Job description
A well established professional construction consultancy with a strong work book and are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a contract basis.
They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with previous experience of hands on delivery of projects especially within the public sector. This will be a mix of Residential, mixed use, public buildings (such as town halls, community centres, libraries etc) and a multitude of other projects. This role is hands on delivery focussed as opposed to operations so my client is looking for a 'do'er'. In return they offer a great working environment and a WFH split of 3/2. You will ideally be chartered however strong experience will most definitely be considered and my client is looking for a start ASAP. The ideal candidate would be a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience delivering projects as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a coast consultancy that is public sector focussed.
As a Senior you will be responsible for delivery of cost management and sit above a team of QS's and Juniors and as such you will ideally have both strong delivery and people management skills.
This contract has the potential to be mid-long term and potentially also offers the opportunity to go temp to perm.
