Do you have excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience working with young people?

We are looking for enthusiastic Sessional Workers to join the Fast Forward Team.

This role will have a focus on youth groups and other informal education settings.

We are seeking a Project Development Officer to join Fast Forward’s Scottish Gambling Education Hub, an enthusiastic,detailed orientated person with excellent communication skills and a track record of reporting andevaluation.

The Scottish Gambling Education Hub is Scotland’s first gambling education and prevention programme, focusing onprotecting young people from gambling harms, providing free training, support and resources for practitionerswho work with young people and families in a range of education and health settings across Scotland.

We are looking for enthusiastic Trustees to join Fast Forward’s Board of Directors.

We particularly welcome applications from people from communities with protected characteristics i.e. age,disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, to strengthen anddiversify our Board and organisation.

New Trustees, with protected characteristics, will be supported by a mentor / coach with lived experience ofprotected characteristics, through 1:1 sessions tailored to their individual personal and professionaldevelopment to;

Ochil Tower School is an independent charity offering education, care and therapy services for children and youngpeople with complex additional support needs on a residential and day basis. Our pupils come from a range oflocal authorities across Scotland. We have an ambitious development plan which includes an extension to our 52week provision for all our children and young people and opening our 5th house on site, which follows on fromthe establishment of a Life Skills Centre for our senior pupils (18-21 years).

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a House Coordinator who will work as part of a team that is responsible for ensuring a highquality of care is provided which meets the needs of each individual child and young person at Ochil TowerSchool.

The Person

The person appointed must be highly responsible and reliable, be competent in household management and have theability to create and maintain a homely and supportive environment. The position requires a maturity enablingthe person to resolve conflict and can understand and empower people with sometimes quite divergent points ofview.

The person appointed will have previously been a House Manager and/or held supervisory responsibilities as anAssistant Manager and/or Senior, evidenced through your CV.

You will have a minimum of HNC/SVQ Level 3 with a willingness for continuous professional development, obtaining SVQ4 and progressing through the Leadership and Management Award Level 10.

The Role

Are you an experienced and personable education professional with an understanding of the independent school sector?St George's School in Edinburgh is in search of the ideal candidate to assume the Chair position,necessitating strategic chairing skills, contextual awareness, and knowledge of the political background withinthe educational landscape.

The role involves an average time commitment of around 5 hours per week, accommodating meetings at the end of theworking day, including three council meetings annually, one strategy day, and active participation in committeeslike Finance, HR, and safeguarding.

Your expertise in education, financial acumen, and a keen interest in development and fundraising initiatives areessential to contribute to our commitment to excellence at St George's School.
