Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Tonbridge, Kent

• Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary nurse or soon to be?
• Are you looking to join an independent practice?

We are working with an independent small animal practice located in Tonbridge, Kent who are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing so you must be capable in all areas, pulling from your experience working in a small animal practice. You will have the ability to balance empathising with clients and maintaining your professionalism. Dealing with routine and emergency cases. We have inpatient care, theatre/diagnostics, day/team organisation shifts, nurse clinic/client communication shifts, laboratory shifts. We are very nurse lead and like our nurses to do as much as they can to encourage great teamwork and job satisfaction.

This role is full time for 40 hours per week with shifts from 7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm, 8:30am to 5:30pm and 9am to 6pm, along with 1 in 6 Saturday mornings and 1 in 12 Saturdays mornings followed by on-call until 7am on Monday. There may also be some night shifts if cover is needed but this will be very rare.

• Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, shifts between 7am and 6pm
• OOH: Some nights if cover needed but very rare

• Computer system: Ezyvet

About you:

• You will need to be confident in your own abilities and have excellent clinical and customer service skills to succeed in this
• Teamwork, patient care, high standards and building relationships with clients are at the forefront of what they do
• They are looking for an enthusiastic, goal oriented and self-motivated veterinary nurse to continue the rapid growth of the practice
• You will need to be comfortable liaising with other veterinary team members, specialists and service providers

Facilities:

Package:

• Salary: £26,000 to £31,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
