Project Engineer

Salary: £40 per hour PAYE (6 month contract – extendable)

Hours: 37.5 per week (overtime available subject to approval)

Location: Bracknell or Motherwell

What are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, and motivated individual to join our client’s site in either Bracknell or Motherwell as a Project Engineer .

What will you be doing every day as a Project Engineer ?

• Implement complex and standard engineering solutions, typically undertaking one aspect of a large project (i.e. MMI, Control and Safety applications, IT, Hardware design).
• Interface directly with customers on specific design details of solutions.
• Technically coach/mentor an assistant and actively share knowledge with other engineers in the discipline team.
• Support the implementation of projects in line with company objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.

What skills and requirements do you need to be a Project Engineer ?

• Specific experience with TPS (Transaction Process System) system knowledge.
• Understanding of systems designed to provide comprehensive control, monitoring, and optimisation capabilities for various industrial processes.
• Previous experience of working within a project engineering environment, and an understanding of the engineering lifecycle of a product from conception to commissioning.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Pay Rate: £35 - £40 p/h (depending on experience)
Drug Screening and DBS Check Required
