A forward-thinking Comprehensive High School in Luton rated ‘outstanding’ currently seeks a dedicated and engaging Science Teacher to join their vibrant educational community!

Committed to nurturing academic excellence the ideal Science Teacher will be an ambitious and enthusiastic, professional, with the ability to effectively engage & challenge students of all abilities across key stage 3 and key stage 4.

The school prides themselves with having cutting-edge facilities, meaning as the Science Teacher you will benefit from teaching in one of the most state-of-the-art Biology labs in Luton, equipped with the latest technology and resources.

This is a full time position working 9am – 5pm, to start in April 2024 to run until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for the contract to go permanent.

Daily rate up to £211.

Skills and Qualifications required:

* Excellent subject knowledge and proven track record of raising attainment
* The experience and ability to teach outstanding lessons
* The resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
* Strong classroom behaviour management skills, reliable and punctual
* ECTs are welcome
* QTS status is desirable however science experts with teaching experience will also be considered
* Be able to commute to Luton
