The Supply register are currently looking for a School Chef to work in one of our parternship schools based in Birmingham
8am till 2:15pm
Monday to Thursday every week
This role is term time only but on a long term basis
Your role:
The main duties will be to supervise the catering staff and catering operations and manage the kitchen and its resources to ensure a quality service is provided for the complete running of the catering services for the school.
You will be handling cash handling, using a till, banking and cash reconciliation.
You will be compliant with Health and Safety, Food safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and manual handling.
To be suitable for the role you must:
Have a clear enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
Hold a level 2 hygiene certificate
Have experience cooking for large numbers of consumers
Ideally have school based experience (but not essential)
