Job description

SEN specialist tutors needed to support primary/GCSE level learners within Solihull.

Are you an passionate, engaging educator searching for opportunities to significantly impact the learning of young people through 1:1 or small group tuition? We have learners who need you to make a real difference in their lives now who are situated throughout Birmingham, who require tailored, in-person support in their own homes or schools to enable their academic success - we'd love to work with you if you share our passion in creating meaningful outcomes for learners of all ages and ability levels.

Fleet Education Services is one of the largest nationwide providers of alternative and supplementary education to schools and local authorities, supporting children from all backgrounds through one-to-one and small group tuition programmes. We provide impactful, quality assured tuition, delivered by the best educators who ensure that every learner we support thrives.

You'll provide in-person tuition to students who have either disengaged with education or who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations - opportunities to tutor are tailored with your availability and subject specialisms in mind and can vary between 1-15 hours per week depending on the student's learning requirements. Your skill and expertise will play a leading role in improving the self-confidence and subject knowledge of your learner, ultimately re-engaging them with education and providing a positive learning outcome.
