Project Manager – Events & Exhibitions
We are working with a well–known, European leading organisation on the lookout for a Project Manager for Events & Exhibitions to join their team in Warwick. This is an incredible opportunity to join a great company within a fantastic team.
As a Project Manager for Events & Exhibitions, you'll use your project management expertise to work with the Head of Marketing and wider marketing team and will be fully involved in the development and implementation of the operational marketing activity.
Your focus will be to support the wider marketing team and Group Marketing in carrying out all planned events, exhibitions and literature production, on time and within budget. Within this you will work with third party suppliers, Product Management and Group Marketing and you will be fully supportive of the sales teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing and wider marketing team to manage and deliver events and exhibitions for the company brands
- Manage contractor/builder tender process for annual exhibitions and shows
- Manage and develop the Marketing Services Assistant
- Act as key contact and coordinate initiatives for charity activities
- Manage and monitor marketing inboxes, working closely with the customer support, technical support and wider marketing team
- Act as key contact for procurement house agency and print agency
- Manage, develop and coordinate literature production across company brands, working closely with Group and the wider marketing team
- Develop and deliver internal communications as required
- Coordinate communications and provide support for internal/external training offering (on–site and digital) including; managing bookings, dealing with customers directly and working closely with Product Management and the Training Management to ensure a seamless customer experience
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years working in an operational marketing or project management role
- Experience of managing the logistics of events and exhibitions
- Experience of managing people
- Project Management qualification
- Experience of working with CRM
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate – Microsoft packages including; Outlook, Word, Excel
- Self–motivated and with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work to targets and deadlines
- Passion for digital marketing and emerging technologies
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Confidence to deal with people internally and externally at all levels
- Be hands on and operational
- Ability to prioritise own work levels
- Able to work in a team
- Demonstrate flexibility and adapt to change
- Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail
