Hours - Monday - Friday 40 hours per week inclusive of a 1 hour unpaid break
Salary - £30,000 per annum

Purpose of Job
Utilising key purchasing and negotiation techniques, help manage a portfolio of commodity categories, driving profitable growth for the organisation. Including negotiation, and data analysis/reporting.
Main Duties
- To support the implementation and delivery of a product strategy for a portfolio of products across specific commodity areas.
- To assist with customer quotation requests.
- Negotiate cost and terms with portfolio of suppliers.
- Proactively develop and maintain appropriate relationships with all stakeholders.
- To collect and maintain appropriate data and information to support strategic supplier management and maximise opportunities across the commodity categories.
- Monitor commodity performance and produce associated reports on a regular basis.
- To collate, manage contract balances with the Trading Co-ordinator.
- Produce information and reports and commodity market reports for reporting as required.
- Liaise with and inform the Regional Sales teams on new and forthcoming product information and commodity fluctuations as a result of market movements.
- To support the management of the administrative areas of procurement to ensure accurate records are kept, including pricing, promotions, trading agreements and income management across all business units.
- To work closely with the trading team members, (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain), as well as all areas of the business.
- To ensure and enforce where appropriate that all personnel follow procedures and works instructions.
- To present to senior management when required.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure operational efficiency ( Marketing , Technical and Finance).
- You may also be required to undertake other duties which are deemed to be within the business needs.
- To support the Senior Commodity with additional duties when required.
- To produce, consolidate and distribute monthly reports for the Management teams.
- To adhere to the instruction given by Management.
- Promoting customer excellence throughout the business.
