Health & Safety Advisor – Merthyr Tydfil
Salary is between £40,000 to £50,000
Every other Friday off – working 9 days per fortnight
Duties
- Responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day management of Health and Safety and Environment for the Merthyr site.
- Maintain legal compliance of the business and site to health and safety environment legislation.
- Verifying compliance to the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Generation and management of Risk Assessments
- Carry out workplace inspections
- Carry out accident and near miss investigations
Requirements for this role:
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- DSE Assessor
- Fire Risk Assessor
- COSHH Assessment
- Work at Heights training
- Electrical Safety training
- First Aid at Work training
