We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a leading provider of a leading offshorelaw firm services in Jersey
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller, to manage a team and support the finance function:
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of annual financial statements for all entities in the group and liaise with auditors as required
- Manage the preparation of tax computations in conjunction with tax advisors in Jersey, Guernsey, London, Hong Kong and Singapore. Developing an understanding of the local reporting requirements and rules in each jurisdiction and working with advisors on any potential issues and/or changes to legislation and reporting requirements
- Oversight of client monies policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local reporting requirements
- Responsibility for bank and balance sheet reconciliations, liaising with the group functions & jurisdictional finance teams as required
- Responsibility for maintaining the day-to-day integrity of ledgers including the month end close process
- Be responsible for other statutory reporting, including VAT, GST and other tax returns
